Go to vanillaplus.ryzify.co.uk, pick a map and hit Connect. That copies the address and gives you a Launch via Steam button. You can also press Tab in ARK's main menu and type open 195.62.33.32:7781 (that's The Island; each map has its own port).

VanillaPlus runs on ARK: Survival Evolved on Steam. Aberration and Extinction need their paid expansions; The Island and Ragnarok are free.

Open the dedicated server list in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, search for Ayepal Land, and enter the world password. The password is pinned in our Discord. Full steps are at dragonwilds.ryzify.co.uk.

• Update your game in Steam (right-click → Properties → Updates). Servers are usually updated shortly after a patch drops.
• In ARK's server browser, tick Show Player Servers and set the session filter to Unofficial.
• If a patch just landed, give it 30 minutes. Server updates are announced on Discord.

Subscribe to the twelve cluster mods on the Steam Workshop before joining, then let Steam finish downloading. If one keeps failing, unsubscribe, delete its folder in ARK/ShooterGame/Content/Mods, and resubscribe.

That's almost always the world saving. VanillaPlus saves every 15 minutes and Ayepal Land every 5. A short hitch at those times is normal and means your progress is safe.

• Use a wired connection if you can. Wi-Fi is the most common cause.
• Close downloads and streams running in the background.
• Check the ping column in the server browser. If it's fine there but bad in-game, tell us the time and map so we can check the server logs.

Large builds and lots of tames are heavy on your PC, not just the server. Lower view distance and foliage, and keep tame counts sensible. That's partly why it's in the rules.

5× XP, 5× harvest, 10× taming, max wild level 150. Breeding is fast: 40× hatching, 12× maturing, and one cuddle gives a full imprint. The full table is at vanillaplus.ryzify.co.uk/#rates.

Yes. All four VanillaPlus maps run identical rates, so nothing changes when you transfer between them.

Any temporary boost will be announced on Discord with start and end times first.

No wipe is scheduled. If one is ever needed, for example after a game update that breaks saves, it'll be announced on Discord well ahead of time.

Mostly for game updates and maintenance. Restarts are announced in-game and on Discord. Ayepal Land uses safe restarts, which wait for the next autosave so nothing is lost.

We keep backups, but we roll back the whole server rather than individual players, and only for server-side problems. Contact us with the map, time and what happened, and we'll check the logs.

Use the contact form and choose Report a player, or open a ticket on Discord. Please include:

• Their in-game name (and tribe, on ARK)
• The server or map, and roughly when it happened
• Screenshots or a short clip

An admin checks the server logs and your evidence. Usually that means a warning first, then removing structures, then a ban. Reports are confidential and we won't tell the other player who reported them.

That's against the VanillaPlus rules. Send us the map and the location (with in-game GPS coordinates if possible) and we'll handle it. Please don't demolish it yourself.
